How We Work With Schools

We approach school work as specialists, not generalists. Our team holds advanced training in sensory integration, neurodivergent-affirming practice, and complex SEND. We tailor every piece of work to your setting.

 

Whether you are commissioning a one-off environment audit, ongoing direct OT input for EHCP-specified provision, or a training day for staff, we will scope the work with you first, deliver to a clear plan, and provide written documentation you can act on.

 

We can be commissioned through schools directly, through Local Authorities, or via EHCP-specified provision.

Common Reasons Schools Work With Us

  • Sensory environments are not yet working - busy classrooms, sensory overload, transitions that do not hold learners well

  • Specific learners need OT input under EHCP, or have complex sensory or motor profiles that need specialist support

  • Staff want practical training that goes beyond the surface

  • Home and school presentations are very different for a particular learner, and bridging is needed

Service Packages

Sensory and Environmental Audit

£210 half day  |  £420 full day

A walk-through observation of classrooms, transition spaces, and whole-school environment, identifying practical changes to reduce sensory load and improve regulation.

 

Includes pre-visit briefing call, walk-through observation, brief staff interviews, and a written report with prioritised recommendations within 3-4 weeks.

School Training Sessions

£210 half day  |  £420 full day

Bespoke training delivered in-person or remotely, tailored to your specific learner population. Topics include sensory regulation, masking and the home-school gap, early years motor and sensory foundations, executive function, and supporting PDA presentations.

School-Based Direct OT Input

£210 half day  |  £420 full day  |  £120 per hour ad-hoc

Direct OT delivery within your school environment, structured around your needs. Can include individual learner sessions, observation, classroom-based strategies, staff modelling, and review.

 

Termly summary of input. Written strategies for staff and home where relevant.

Home-School Bridging Consultation £360

A structured consultation bringing together family and school, facilitated by an experienced OT, to understand the home-school gap and agree shared approaches.

 

Often used where masking, demand avoidance, or environment-specific dysregulation is impacting both settings.

EHCP Annual Review Attendance £360

Attendance at EHCP annual reviews, including preparation, up to 3 hours total.

EHCP-specified provision

If you have learners with OT input specified in their EHCP, we can deliver that provision under contract. We will work with you and the family to scope the input, agree the delivery model, and provide termly reporting against the specified outcomes.
